Book Review: Heartbreak Hotel by Aneta Cruz

Reviewer: Terry

heartbreak hotelI received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Summary:

Always falling head over heels for men who have nothing to offer her, and running from those who do, Kara realizes that her quest to find Mr. Right is harder than expected. As if her “mostly ludicrous” dating escapades weren’t enough to deal with, her unusual combination of friends—one gay, one a virgin, one dating a married man, and one always telling her to “give it up on the first date in order to start a flourishing relationship”—isn’t of much help in matters of the heart either. Perhaps a kiss in the middle of the Charles Bridge could finally bring her happiness. But wait! That’s just an old myth, isn’t it?

Review:

Have you ever wanted to know what goes on behind the scenes at a large tourist hotel. What the staff does during their work time and off time and their side of interaction with all the guests?

Heart break hotel gives you a unique take on all that goes on with a crew of mostly single young people who work and live at a large tourist hotel in Prague.  Many sad, funny, weird and sweet experiences are share through Kara’s time working at the hotel. All while she is also trying to find love and what she really wants to do with the rest of her life.

Heartbreak hotel has a fun range of characters for you to get to know as a reader and is a fun light read.
