#BookReview: Impractically Perfect by Genevieve Lerner

impractically perfectAbout the Book

Penny’s life is perfect. She has the perfect career as a dental hygienist, the perfect living situation with her best friend in the world, and to top it off, her perfect boyfriend is going to propose—tonight! Things couldn’t be better.

Except…it would be nice if her boss actually gave her that raise she deserved. And if her roommate didn’t take advantage of her. And if her totally perfect husband-to-be would sometimes, you know, act like he loved her.

But when she meets a man who is nothing like she ever imagined for herself, Penny has to decide what’s more important: perfection, or happiness.

My Review

This is the second book I’ve read from Genevieve Lerner, and once again, I quite enjoyed it! Impractically Perfect is a fun romantic comedy, with plenty of humorous and yet heartfelt moments. Between Penny’s work and her love life, I really liked the fact that this book was just a little different. We didn’t have the predicate rom com set ups as we do so many other novels, and that gave this book definite bonus points for me. I read this book quickly and thoroughly enjoyed myself while doing so, and would recommend to romantic comedy fans.
