Marisa Tanner is a successful lawyer living in Memphis, Tennessee, specializing in sexual harassment cases. When one of her biggest clients, Brannon Company receives 9 accusations of harassment, Marisa is ready to take on the challenge and defend her client. She is determined, professional and focused…until Trip Brannon comes into the picture.

Trip, the successful entrepreneur son of Brannon Company CEO, catches her eye and completely throws her off of her game. Relations with clients is completely off limits. But, you always want what you can’t have, and Marisa wants Trip! Will she chance her job to pursue romance? Will Trip live up to his name of the socialite, ladies man? Will she risk ruin?

This is a really fun chick lit book. Very easy reading with likable characters and an interesting plot. The law side gives a nice balance to the romance of the novel. I really like how the main character is a strong, confident woman. It is a nice change of pace from the dependent, needy woman roles I often read about in books like this. I really enjoyed reading this book, and I hope you do too!
