we've always got new yorkI received a review copy

Summary:

The second book in Jill Knapp’s fabulous series about dating in New York picks up after Amalia Hastings returns to Manhattan from her trip to Brazil – and finds that life has indeed gone on without her.

Fresh off the plane, Amalia’s feeling anxious and unresolved; left alone to pick up the pieces and deal with the repercussions of choosing her own path over Michael.

Without an apartment, without a job, and starting to wonder if she’s even without a best friend, she finds herself holding on tightly to the one thing she is familiar with, New York City.

Sometimes you have to let go of who you were to become who you will be…

Review:

I have also read the first book in this series, and while I usually prefer book one over two, I actually really enjoyed the second one quite a bit more! It was fun and past-paced from the first page, and really never a dull moment along the way. I thought this was chick lit all the way, especially with New York City as the setting, and I think chick lit fans will love this one! The ending…whoa, what a cliff hanger! I kept swiping my Kindle thinking there was no way she could leave us hanging like that. I’ll definitely be looking for book three in the series!
