Heidi Klum, Seal Seperate

No! No! No! Well, I’m just devastated. Weekend reports were saying that super couple Heidi Klum and Seal were heading for divorce, but I didn’t want to believe it. Now, I guess I have to. They released this joint statement Monday morning: “While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”

Gosh darn it. Klum, 38, and Seal, 48, were married in Mexico in 2005, and held vow renewal ceremonies each year. I loved watching them on Halloween because they always showed up in crazy costumes. When he sang to her on the Victoria Secret fashion show while she strutted in her underwear was beautiful. This was a Hollywood couple that I really held out hope for. What could have gone wrong from them to “grow apart?”

The couple has three biological children – Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2. Klum also has seven-year old daughter Leni from a previous relationship, whom Seal adopted in 2009.

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler Expecting

Gonna be a football player? Reality star Kristin Cavallari and NFL quarterback Jay Cutler are expecting! The couple, who called off their engagement in July only to reconcile and announce they were back on in November, broke their baby news to PEOPLE: “We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together. It’s an amazing time in our life and we can’t wait to meet the new addition to our growing family.” This will be the first child for Cavallari, 25, and Cutler, 28.

Russel Brand Files for Divorce from Katy Perry

I was really hoping all the reports on this one was wrong, but turns out another Hollywood couple is heading for splits-ville. People.com has reported that Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry in Los Angeles on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences. He said in this in his statement to PEOPLE, “Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.” Perry, 27, and Brand, 36, were married last year in a lavish, fairy-tale wedding in India, and were often gushing about one another and their union. Recently, both stars had been spotted without their wedding rings, and Perry spent the holiday in Hawaii while Brand was in the UK.

Britney Spears Engaged

Britney Spears is saying I Do! A source has confirmed that the pop star, 30, and her former manager Jason Trawick are engaged. Trawick asked for her hand on Thursday night while celebrating his 40^th birthday during a private dinner. Spears, who has previously been married to Jason Alexander (then annulled) and Kevin Federline, dropped a few hints on Twitter this morning about her big news. “OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo.”

Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher Heading for Divorce

Ah, yes, another Hollywood divorce. This one possibly more shocking that Kim Kardashian’s made for TV divorce, but not really giving all the allegations. After six years of marriage, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are going their separate ways. Moore, 49, says in a statement, “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.”

Kutcher, 33, put his two cents in: “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail.”

Now, from Demi’s statement, I’m clearly thinking she is saying Ashton did indeed cheat. Back in September of 2010, Brittney Jones, 22, came forward saying she had sex with Ashton. More recently, 22-year-old Sara Leal splashed herself on tabloid covers claiming to have slept with Ashton––on the 6th wedding anniversary of him and Demi, no less.

Kim Kardashian to File for Divorce

Who saw this one coming? Oh, right––the majority of America! After Kim Kardashian received her 20.5 carat ring from NBA player Kris Humphries, the reality star and fiancée embarked on their engagement journey––all filmed courtesy of the E! network. When preparations for the wedding began, one could easily tell this couple was just not meant to be. The constant fights, Kim’s prissy attitude compared to the laid-back one Kris showed, the family’s angst against their new addition––who really thought this was going to last? Even the days right before the wedding seemed to be a joke. What I wondered––was it for real, or just a show for the cameras? Now the bigger question––was the whole wedding a joke?

Just 72 days after saying “I do” in a lavish ceremony in Montecito, California in front of 440 guests, Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce. Ryan Seacrest tweeted early today, “Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few minutes.” TMZ is reporting that Kardashian, 31, will not seek an annulment and plans to cite “irreconcilable differences in her filing.”

If you can’t tell, I’m just grossed out by this whole thing. The preparations that went into it, the time, effort, and money that went into making “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding” are all for a naught. Some “sources” are claiming that Kardashian knew before the wedding that she had made a mistake, but got “caught up” in the wedding planning and the fairytale aspect. How selfish. Usually, I am not this opinionated over celebrities, but this just really rubbed me the wrong way. And for how many viewers and followers Kim and the whole Kardashian family has––how does that look? To me, the message is no matter how much is costs or who it will affect, make sure you have your way. When it doesn’t work, marriage isn’t a big deal––just get a divorce! What a great role model.  Then again, this is the same woman who to rose to fame off a sex tape.

Update: Kim and Kris have both released statements. Kim: “After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”

And Kris: “I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”

Hmm…the more I read, the more I’m thinking this is just another wonderful publicity stunt via the minds of the Kardashian’s. Desperate.

Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony Split

Anyone else surprised by this news? After seven years of what seemed to be a happy marriage, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have decided to end their marriage. People.com broke the news, which included a joint statement from the musical couple, “We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved, and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.” Lopez, 41, and Anthony, 42, were married in 2004 in Beverly Hills. They have two children together- 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Crystal Harris Splits from Hugh Hefner

Well who saw this one coming? Just four days before their much anticipated nuptials, the wedding between Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris has been officially called off. TMZ was the first to break the news. Harris, 25, and a Playboy playmate, through her website, “After much deep reflection and thought I have decided to end my engagement with Hef. I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward. I hope the media will give each of us the privacy we deserve during this time.” The wedding, set for this Saturday the 18^th, was going to be held at the Playboy Mansion, and over 300 guests were expected to attend. Any guesses on why the sudden cancellation? And I wonder how Holly Madison will react to this news…

Kim Kardashian Engaged

Kim K finally landed her man. After years of wanting to be married (for a second time) Kim Kardashian said yes to New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries, her boyfriend of six months. Kardashian, 30, let People Magazine in on her exciting news, telling them Humphries proposed to her at home in her bedroom, and had rose petals spelling out the words,” WILL YOU MARRY ME?” Kardashian’s mom/manager, Kris Jenner, was in on the surprise, and helped plan an intimate family celebration for later that evening. Kardashian told People, “I didn’t expect this at all. I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”

Oh, were you wondering about the ring? Kim seems to be giving little sister Khloe a run for her money. While Khloe’s sparkler from husband (also a NBA player) Lamar Odom, weighs in at 12.5 carats, Kim beats that with, ready for it, a 20.5 carat custom designed Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring. How big will Kourtney’s ring be if she ever gets engaged? I’m not sure I want to know.

Catherine Middleton a Princess

Kate is a princess. Er, I mean a Duchess. I was one of the many who got up early in the morning to watch Catherine Middleton marry her own Prince Charming- Prince William. Kate’s dress had been highly kept under wraps, but it was revealed on Friday morning it is an Alexander McQueen gown designed by Sarah Burton, the label’s creative director. The train was two meters long, and Kate wore a long veil that covered her face as she walked up the aisle.  Other highlights of the wedding:

• Kate’s sister and maid of honor, Pippa, looking absolutely stunning in a sleek ivory gown- also an Alexander McQueen.
• Prince William telling Kate she looked beautiful when she finally made it to the altar- I was lip reading.
• Princesses Beatrice and Eugenia and their fashionable fascinators.
• The looks Prince William kept shooting Kate throughout the ceremony. The love was so evident.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful, full of love and romance. Kate was the perfect mixture of a traditional and modern bride, and everything seemingly went off without a hitch. The Queen announced their official titles are now Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Who else watched the royal wedding? What did you think of Kate’s dress? What was your favorite part of the wedding?
