Beginning this book I wasn’t sure if I would like it…the beginning was a bit choppy and it worried me. But what I loved is how deeply the story became and the direction it took much quicker than I expected. As a reader we often read many stories that appear to be same thing written over and over with slight variations. This story did not strike me as that in the story seemed to be a dance of the lives of not only Declan and Sutton, but also her Mother and the secrets from her past. If perhaps every mother left a manuscript of their lives before they became mothers, our children would see us in a very different light. It could be considered a blessing and a curse to have that opportunity to take a sneak peek into the life that was lived by the one that loves you endless and that we struggle to imagine living a life outside of being mom.

What an amazing story this turned out to be! My only complaint is when Sutton and Gigi are in trouble. It didn’t fit with the story, the author has amazing talent, so I was expecting there to be a little more behind that part of the story.

I love how there was a story within the story, and I often times forgot that I was reading a manuscript throughout the book.
