GIVEAWAY: Skin Rules Book and Beauty Bag

Skin Rules is a concise and practical instruction manual from a renowned Fifth Avenue dermatologist on how to attain beautiful skin, a taut and sculpted body, and a much younger appearance. Actors, models, and newscasters go to Dr. Jaliman for her cutting-edge technology and the latest in skin care, as well as for her reputation for being the “last stop” doctor, the one who fixes what others can’t.

Skin Rules has something for everyone, no matter where they live or how much money they have to spend. This small, invaluable guide supplies the same advice Dr. Jaliman gives to her celebrity patients, from lasers to remove sun damage and turn back the clock to suggestions for simple products and  habits anyone can adopt for a small outlay of time and money.

I have one print copy of Skin Rules up for grabs, as well as a beauty bag filled with recommended products! To enter, please leave a comment below leaving a beauty tip or trick that works for you. A winner will be chosen Sunday, March 18. Please note this is open to US/Canada residents only. Thank you to Leyane @ FSB Associates for sponsoring this giveaway!

**The winner is Sabrina-Kate E.!**

Use Bag Balm or Vicks Vapo Rub and wear a pair of socks to bed to have wonderfully smooth and soft feet the next day!

And I need more beauty products big time so this is a great contest to pop up! 🙂

I splash warm water on my face to wash and pat to dry, use moisturizer with SPF 15 or 30. I only use a mild soap twice a week on my face. I don’t wear makeup. I am 62 and have no wrinkles at all. Something must be working with this regime.

I noticed that eating a tablespoon of virgin olive oil first thing when I wake up really helps my hair and face, I see fewer broken or split ends and wrinkles.

Olive oil (about 2 Tbsp) mixed with sugar or salt (about 1 tsp.) makes a great foot scrub!

Thanks for the chance to win this awesome looking book! 🙂

Once a week I take oatmeal baths. It really softens my skin.

I’ve heard such great things about this book. I can share so many beauty tips…which one should I share. Okay you always want to drink at least 8 glasses of water and always moisturize. Even if your skin is oily you still need to moisturize.

My beauty tip is to use a small amount of vasoline on your eyebrows and surrounding areas after plucking or waxing them to calm the redness and swelling! Thanks so much for the chance to win 🙂

Wow this book looks great! I spent some time in Japan and always asked the women how they kept their skin so flawless. I learned that touching and rubbing the skin repeatedly can cause wrinkles so there are a few things you should be aware of. When taking off make up and applying products stroke and smooth in an upwards motion – to defy gravity! Also use your fourth finger when touching near the eye as it exerts the least pressure, causing less damage to this sensitive, thin skin. Work in towards the nose rather than from the inner eye outwards. Yay for universal secrets!

I make sure that I always use a mositurizer that has SPF protection everyday. I have naturally smooth skin with little acne and I would like to keep it that way.

My tip is to get a good skin/beauty consultation. It really helps to see a professional about your skin, beauty treatments, and the products that will work for your skin.
