The conference info can be used for ANY conference of any type. All the info can be eased into a great experiece for the attendee. I’m glad to decided to author an informational article for those who desperately need it (a little after the time I needed it but still so appropriate).

Thanks everyone for your kind words of support and encouragement. I just realized I should have added another paragraph about going on the “Ghost Walk” tour with a bunch of paranormal authors. That would have made for some funny stories about getting the bejeatles scared out of me!

Great article, Casey. I can relate to your first experience at National. My first ever RWA conference was in New Orleans at a national RWA event. I had already taken on conference chair for Silken Sands so I thought I’d better attend something to see what should be done. Wow! What an eye opener!
