Mariah Carey Confirms Pregnancy

Ah, the latest worst kept secret in Hollywood is revealed: Mariah Carey is with child. The singer, 41, and husband Nick Cannon, 30, announced the baby news on Thursday morning as part of a sneak peek three-part Access Hollywood interview. Carey said, “Yes, we are pregnant. This is true. It’s been a long journey. It’s been tough because I’ve been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy.” Cannon called the pregnancy “absolutely emotional.” The couple also revealed in the interview that she suffered a miscarriage two years ago. Carey wouldn’t give a due date, but did say the baby would be born in the spring. The gender was not announced.
