you were meant for meYou Were Meant for Me by Yona Zeldis McDonough – October 7, 2014.  Miranda, who is in her mid-thirties, has a successful career at the magazine Domestic Goddess.  She’s finally gotten over a rough break up and is ready to move on with her life, when she finds a baby on a platform in a Brooklyn subway station.  Miranda brings the baby girl to the police station, but then she can’t stop thinking about her.  With her maternal clock ticking, Marinda makes the decision to adopt the baby.  Just when she thinks she’s going to have it all, the baby’s father shows up.  Will he break her heart?

a gift to rememberA Gift To Remember by Melissa Hill – October 14, 2014.  Darcy is a bookstore owner who believes that real life romances never measure up to the literary love stories she adores.  After she crashes her bike into a man, sending him to the hospital, she ends up taking care of his dog.  While the man, Aidan, lays in a coma, she discovers that he’s a book lover too.  As Darcy explores his bookshelves, she envisions Aidan as the perfect man.  But will he turn out to be Prince Charming when he finally wakes up?

one in a millionOne in a Million by Jill Shalvis – October 14, 2014.  This book is number twelve in the Lucky Harbor series.  Callie is the editor of the successful wedding site, TyingtheKnot.com, which is ironic since she’s sworn off love.  But you can’t blame the girl, because once upon a time she was left at the altar.  When Callie returns to her hometown, she runs into her old high school crush, Tanner, who has his own scars.  He has a wild past, which produced a son who’s now a teenager – and an adrenaline junkie like his dad.  Can Tanner grow up and be the father his son needs – and the man that Callie deserves?

winter streetWinter Street by Elin Hilderbrand – October 14, 2014.  I’m super excited about this new release from the queen of the summer beach read.  Yes, Hilderbrand has written a story set in winter (although it’s still on Nantucket).  The Quinn family is in chaos.  The patriarch, Kelley, has just discovered his second wife literally kissing Santa Claus!  Kelley is hurt and confused, but doesn’t want to bother his children with his troubles, three of whom are dealing with their own messy lives and one of whom is in Afghanistan.  Who does he turn to for support?  His first wife, Margaret.  Christmas is going to be complicated!

shopaholic to the starsShopaholic to the Stars by Sophie Kinsella – October 21, 2014.  Kinsella fans have been waiting a long time for this one.  Becky Bloomwood is in Hollywood, which of course is perfect for her.  Becky and her family moved there because her husband Luke has been hired by the very famous Sage Seymour, to handle all her public relations.  Becky sees an opportunity to insert herself in Sage’s life, as her personal assistant, but things don’t quite go as planned.  Becky ends up working for Sage’s rival in all things glam.  Luke and Becky find themselves on opposite side of a paparazzi worthy battle.  Will their marriage survive?
