Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal Split?

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have ended their relationship, a source close to the couple is claiming to People.com. No further details have been released on why the couple split, or who initiated the breakup. But, Usmagazine is coming back saying this story is untrue. A rep for the actress tells the magazine, “It’s not true. They have not split.”

Witherspoon, 33, and Gyllenhaal, 28, were first rumored to be a couple back in 2007, where they co-starred in the movie Rendition. That fall, Witherspoon gave an interview to Vogue, saying how supportive Gyllenhaal was and how lucky she was to have him in her life. And just last month, Witherspoon gave another interview to InStyle  about her relationship, talking about how they spend much time outside of L.A. at her farmhouse.
