While I may not be seventeen anymore, that’s no excuse for me not to brush up on beauty lessons. I was excited when I was asked to review Seventeen Ultimate Guide to Beauty, and it is a fabulous tool. Filled with colorful photos, step-by-step how to guides, easy to understand instructions, and overall clear and concise advise, this was a great book to read. I actually have modeled a few of the hair styles, tried a few of the makeup techniques, and caught myself more than once reciting lines from this book with tips and tricks. If you love style and beauty, this is a great guide to have laying around the house. A bit on the young side, but of course, it is from Seventeen Magazine and the recommended reading age starts at twelve. I think my thirteen year-old niece would just love having this around, so I’m thinking a nice present is about to come her way!
