Lauren Conrad Hits Bestseller List

Lauren Conrad has done it again. The reality star, 24, has topped the New York Times bestseller list once more with her second novel, Sweet Little Lies. Conrad told People.com, “It’s so gratifying for my second book to be so successful and it was so fun to write! The characters were already developed so I really enjoyed the process so much more this time around. All the characters have become like my friends now.” Former star of The Hills also reached the bestseller list with her first novel, L.A. Candy, with her novels following Jane Roberts, a young girl who reaches reality TV fame in L.A. A third novel will be released in the series.

Lauren Conrad To Write Style Book

Lauren Conrad, known for her reality series The Hills has yet another project to add to her budding list. The star, 23, will pen a style book to be called simply Lauren Conrad Style. People.com reports the book will be published by Harper Collins in the fall of 2010. Conrad’s new book (she has also published the fiction title L.A. Candy) will feature never-before-seen photos of the style icon and tips to putting together your own look. “I am really excited to write a style guide. “I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are. When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous,” Conrad stated in a release.
Lauren Conrad designs an affordable clothing line for Kohls, and her follow-up to L.A. Candy, titled Sweet Little Lies will go on sale February 2, 2010.
