Lady Gaga Collapses, Forced to Postpone Show

Lady Gaga is apologizing to her fans after having to cancel a concert in Indiana on Thursday. The singer had collapsed due to exhaustion and dehydration, and was forced  to cancel that night’s performance.  Usmagazine quotes the pop star saying, “I’ve been crying for hours. I feel like I let my fans down 2nite. An hour before the show I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing. Paramedics came to take care of me, and told me my heart rate was irregular- a result of exhaustion and dehydration. Can’t apologize enough for how sorry I am. I could hear my fans cheering from dressing room, I begged everyone to let me go onstage.”

Lady Gaga has said she is going to perform a make-up concert on January 25^th at Purdue University.

Lady Gaga Collaborating with Polaroid

Lady Gaga has signed on with photography brand Polaroid with the title creative director and inventor of specialty products. The collaboration announcement was made at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Thursday. Gaga, 23, released this statement, “The Haus of Gaga has been developing prototypes in the vein of fashion /technology /photography innovation – blending the iconic history of Polaroid and instant film with the digital era – and we are excited to collaborate on these ventures with the Polaroid brand.”

According to People.com, Polaroid was pulled out of bankruptcy last May by private equity firms and a plan to launch new products using the Polaroid name. Gaga’s campaign will feature the pop star in marketing campaigns and social networking channels.

Lady Gaga….Style Award?

You may be as surprised as I am to be reading that Marc Jacobs is crowning the one and only Lady Gaga as Accessories Stylemaker at the 13^th annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards. It is true that Lady Gaga is quite….unique…when it comes to style. Anyone else remember her red getup at this year’s VMA’s with fabric covering her face? Congratulations though to Lady Gaga and the other honorees, which include Diane von Furstenberg, Tomas Maier of Bottega Veneta and Blake Mycoskie of Tom’s Shoes. The event will be taking place next Monday in New York.
