Tiger Woods Returning to Golf

Tiger Woods is back. After a four month hiatus stemming from a sex scandal that rocked Hollywood and the golf world, Woods has announced his return. The pro golfer announced on Tuesday that he will play at the Masters tournament in Augusta, Georgia beginning April 8th. Woods released this statement, “The Masters is where I won my first major and I view this tournament with great respect. After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I’m ready to start my season at Augusta. The major championships have always been a special focus in my career and, as a professional, I think Augusta is where I need to be, even though it’s been a while since I last played.”

Tiger Woods to Break Silence Friday

Tiger Woods will finally be breaking his three month silence on Friday. People.com reports that the golfer, who hasn’t been seen in public since his car crash last November that led to the explosive sex scandal and his multiple affairs, will talk to a small group on Friday. His agent and spokesman released this statement, “Tiger Woods will be speaking to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates … at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Tiger plans to discuss his past and his future and he plans to apologize for his behavior.”
