Bio: Jenny Gardiner knew from a young age that she wanted to write, and pursued a writing-related career. She wrote and edited for her college newspaper, worked in radio, and was even a TV news reporter. She earned a degree in broadcast journalism from Penn State and eventually worked as a publicist on Capitol Hill. After a few years of living in debt and working at poverty level, Gardiner became a Washington photographer and entered a glamorous life.

Marriage and motherhood put the brakes on that career, and Gardiner began to revisit her ideas of becoming a writer. After writing and publishing a few essays, she began to try her hand at writing a fiction novel. She now has three published titles.

Titles: Sleeping With Ward Cleaver, Winging It: A Memoir of Caring for a Vengeful Parrot Who’s Determined to Kill Me, and Slim to None.
