I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is such an amazing story about the true love that a person can have for another person. Tamara story and how she chooses to live her life around her sister in order to help her sister live the best life possible due to an unfortunate accident from their teen years is admirable. It is refreshing to read a story about such an unselfish love.
The accident that stopped Lyddie from ever getting to live the life she dreamed, changed destiny for more than Lyddie, it changes her parents’ lives ,her sister’s life, and even Jed and his whole families lives. One thoughtless mistake changed all their lives.
This story is about more than the accident though; it’s about where they all are many years later and how they all finally find a way to heal from it. One cannot help but love Lyddie and her innocence. She is truly a special character that you instantly fall in love with. And with her help her family finds a way past what was truly the worst time in their lives.
I truly enjoyed reading this story; I love the twist that they added to it with Emilia and Jed’s brother. It added to the story and really had me guessing on whether Jed was a good guy or not.
This is a great little romance novel with a refreshing value lesson twisted in.
Thank you so much for such a positive review. 🙂 I’m delighted that you enjoyed Is This Love?

Great to have you on Sue!
I’m a big fan of Sue Moorcroft’s books. This one is still on my TBR pile – which is a pretty big pile. However, I’m beginning to think I might just let this one sneak a bit closer to the top.
Sounds like the perfect read for Mothers’ Day weekend to me. Xxx
I really loved this book too. Great review! xx
I loved ‘Is This Love’, it’s my favourite of all of Sue Moorcroft’s books. Written with such sensitivity. A great review.
What a great review! This book is on my kindle and I’m so looking forward to reading it
Fabulous review though I not surprised having enjoyed your other books, Sue. Another treat in store,
I’m reading it now and apart from thoroughly enjoying it, I’ve been fascinated by various reviews and discussions that focus on many aspects of the book. One of them was comparing UK and US romantic fiction and how different this would have been had it been written from a US view point.
It’s fun to have these different perspectives to think about as I’m reading Is This Love?
And Tamara really is a wonderful character.
Lovely review. Sue always writes stories with a bit of bite (and for those amongst us who are just a tad shallow, there’s some very attractive and endearing heroes 🙂 )
