Review:
This was an enjoyable, light read infused with comedy. The characters were great and I loved the friendship that Alex shared with her co-workers. There was a lot of light-hearted banter between Alexandria and her co-workers as well as her family. Alexandria’s family was amusing and her love and respect for her Nonna was heart warming. I lost a little interest when Alex was rehashing her life’s events with her best friend over the phone or via skype.
I thought that Alexandria was very over the top by cooking meals for her dates…but I don’t enjoy cooking. The recipes included with the book were a nice touch.
