As CLP celebrates 5 years, I have to spotlight the fabulous reviewers on my team that help me keep up with the high demands of running a book blog! I definitely could not keep this site as up to date and filled with book reviews and content if it weren’t for my fabulous team! Today, we spotlight Terry!

Why were you interested in joining CLP as a reviewer?
I love reading books and getting to know authors. Reviewing for CLP has allowed me to take that one step further and give authors feedback and share my love for their writing.
Can you name one or two of your favorite books that you’ve reviewed for CLP?
Yes! I really loved The Backup List (Authors Miriam Brady and Amber Best) as well as the 2 books following it. The authors were so wonderful to work with and they even sent me signed hard copies of the whole series.
The other book that has always stayed with me is Carolyn Ridder Asperson’s Unfinished Business. She has also written a second book in this series and they are both amazing reads! Who doesn’t love a ghost story with humor?
I also must add that I have enjoyed all the books I have reviewed through CLP, and it was very hard to pick just two!
Besides reading, what hobbies do you enjoy?
I love spending time with my family, we hike, camp, fish, rock hound, and have recently bought a boat to add boating to our list. I also love to play Laser Tag!
What has been one of your favorite birthday celebrations?
I am not big on those things for myself. However we planned a family vacation for my birthday a few years ago. We drove to the Northern California Coast near the Klamatha River, it was an amazing trip and has inspired us to take more family vacations since then. Including a Trip to the Florida Keys. I am now a believer that holidays should be spend holiday’ing.

Here’s a little about me. My name is Terry. I am a Stay at home mom of 2….well ok 3 if you count our 5 year old lab Maggie…which I do. 
My kids are 16 and 11…16 year old girl, 11 year old boy. We live up in South Dakota-the heart of the black hills! I am a stay at home mom…….so why do I just stay at home? , my youngest has Epilepsy, he at the age of 4, begun having seizures. It is mainly controlled by meds, but he often requires a lot of attention, as well as constant help in many areas. He is one of my blessing’s in life, and the way he handles his challenge makes him my hero. I would rather spend every day of my life making sure he is the strongest person he can be, then sitting in an office at a computer…..So I am one of those blessed girls that gets to spend my free time with my passions, reading and photography, which is what brings me here! I am thrilled to get to be a part Chicklitplus and share my reviews with all of you!
