My Review
I was really excited to read Wilde Like Me from Louise Pentland, because I was quite tickled she is a Youtuber and author, just like yours truly. I also enjoy British chick lit so I figured I would get along well with Robin Wilde and story. I will say in the beginning I was just a tad worried, because I wasn’t getting as drawn to the book as I thought I would be. I actually looked up to see if this book was a part of a series because I kept feeling like I was missing certain parts of the story that had already been told, but I didn’t see that to be the case. I’m glad I kept reading on though, because just shy of halfway through, the plot started to pick up for me and I ended up being thoroughly entertained until the end. There is plenty of humor, relatable moments even if you’re not yet a mom yourself like me, and I also enjoyed the female empowerment bits. Overall I quite enjoyed this one, and would like to read more from Louise Pentland!
