WEEK TWO OF VACATION, BUT I AM ROCKIN’ IT! (Week 8)
I need to weigh in when I arrive home! So, I am not sure what I weigh right now. I hope I am heading in the right direction since I began my Year of Transformation (on Sept. 7th, 2015).
I feel like I weigh less than last week. I “saw the light” last week, learning that I need to eat right always, but at least most of the time while away from home. I need to be even more committed while traveling. I am fitting in to my jeans again, so I know I have lost some of the weight I gained last week. YEAH!
I visited with friends that are Vegan, so I ate a lot of veggies while I was there. Just lots of great food. It was easier not having any bad temptation sitting in front of me. I am good at eating well, without distractions. J
They also took me to walk at the beach while I was staying with them. It felt so good. That day I certainly had the most energy compared to my other days. I wonder how many times I am going to need to be reminded that healthy eating is the best way for me?? I also learned that staying away from gluten as much as I can is key to my success.
I am looking forward to getting home and back on to my schedule.
Keep On Keeping On! I am looking forward to my evaluation at Spectrum PT on November 1st, 2015. The goal is to help me with Balance, Flexibility, Pain Management and Weight Loss! I trust that when I am being monitored while I work out, I will be a lot more successful. I am so excited about this opportunity! This is going to be great!
I look forward to working out becoming part of my daily routine again.
Another thing I cannot live without ~
PROTEIN! I need to have protein with each meal. Any form works for me, from veggies, to legumes to meat.
FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION! While I have slipped while on vacation…I have learned a lot about myself, and what my body does not need.
Please join me next week, where I’ll tell you how I am doing since arriving home from a 12 day vacation!
I add whey protein to my oatmeal in the morning and I have tuna a lot for lunch.
HI Tracy, Thanks for reading my post! I read about Whey Protein…I am a bit concerned as I am trying to not have milk…so, where is Whey Protein in its relation to milk? My body has issues with Casein Protein. I also have tuna regularly…I HEART Tuna!!
