Maybelline has been my go-to makeup line for the last few products I have bought, especially when it comes to eyes. Recently, I picked up their Define-A-Line eyeliner, and am very impressed by the results. The first thing I noticed with this eyeliner was how smooth it went on. No hard pressing, no going over the line multiple times, just one swipe and I get a perfect line. The second thing I noticed was how long lasting it was. This eyeliner stays on from when I first apply it in the morning, all the way until I take it off before bedtime. My only complaint is a very common one with eyeliner that is applied to the upper lash line: it smudges above the eye. A few times a day I have to wipe the smudged liner off, but it comes off quickly and easily, so it’s not too terrible. The liner also comes with a built-in smudger, so you can easily have a more relaxed look if you choose. Overall, I really love this product and will definitely be buying it again. I think the next mascara I will try will be Maybelline’s Define-A-Lash Lengthening Mascara. Crossing my fingers for the same great results!
Keep me posted on the mascara. I have a terrible time finding one that doesn’t flake or smudge under the eye.

A good, easy to apply, eyeliner is hard to come by. I will look out for this one next time I am shopping for one. Also, I have tried applying a thin coat of black eyeshadow on top of my eyeliner above the eye and it seems to help with the smudging. Maybe try that and see if it works?

Good tip Sara! Sometimes what I do is put a line of liquid eyeliner on first on top, then my regular eyeliner pencil. That seems to help!
As an office girl, I really don’t like to put on make up to my face because I’m really afraid that I might get allergies. But as my co office mates told me that I should put on some make up even just eyeliner to emphasize my eyes. Thanks to your blog. I found what I’ve been looking for.

I tried this product for the first time today. I wanted an inexpensive go-to eyeliner that isn’t too difficult to take off before bed time, and a “true-black” look. This was perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It did the job! Great for casual trips that you don’t want to cloak your face with heavier make up or the make up that you’ve invested more money on! Would definitely be buying this and stocking up!
