I’ve been hearing a lot about gel eyeliner lately, so of course I had to see what it was all about. Eyeliner is a must for me. Without it, I could pass for a twelve year old. Not a twenty-one year old, but twelve. It’s awkward. I carry eyeliner in my purse for this reason. Back on track – I purchased the Revlon Colorstay Crème Gel Eyeliner in black, and I love it. The staying power is awesome. I can put this on in the morning and wear it until bedtime with no touch ups. My Revlon regular eyeliner does not do that, it runs and smears and fades throughout the day, so when I know a full day is ahead of me or a night of dancing, the gel liner is the way to go. A few negatives is the pot is pretty small, so once you get more than half used it can be difficult to get it out. Also, I really dislike the brush that comes with it. Handy concept, but it’s clunky and you have to clean it constantly, and even that is hard to do. I often use a separate eyeliner brush, but the softer bristles mean more applications need to be used. Other than those two downfalls, this is my go-to liner and I recommend this product in particular and gel liner for those looking for a longer wear out of your must-have eyeliner!
