Summary:

Review:
This was the first book in the Budget Love Series that I’ve read but I picked it up without feeling like I was missing any back story.
The story and the characters were great. I enjoyed the realistic events that took place and the friendships that were portrayed.
Jake followed his heart and pursued his dream of owning his own business. The start-up consumes all his time as he expected.
Of course, Sky comes along at the worst time because he’s far too engrossed in building his business and has no time for romance.
Thank goodness Jake realized that Sky might worth it.
This was an inspiring story overall and I enjoyed it.
I would read more by Norma Jarrett and I’d recommend Love on a Budget to anyone wanting some good chick lit.
