My Review
Oh my, this was a twisty one. The Lies We Told had several stories built into one psychological thriller, about sociopaths, deception, and betrayal. It’s hard for me to say too much in this review without giving away certain aspects of the book, but this was one I was re-telling at a recent girl’s night, because I couldn’t get it off my mind and had to see what others thought about the premise of the novel. There are constant plot twists, both in the past tense part of the story and the present tense, and I never really felt at ease while reading, always waiting for the next ah-ha moment to surface. If you are a fan of this genre, I highly recommend grabbing this one.
