Carrie Ann Inaba to Have Surgery

Carrie Ann Inaba, choreographer and judge on Dancing With the Stars will undergo surgery Wednesday morning in Los Angeles. People.comcarrie ann inaba reports that Inaba suffers from spinal stenosis, and the surgery will help relieve pressure and stiffness on her neck. Spinal stenosis is where the spinal cord narrows, putting pressure on one or more areas of the spinal cord, causing pain and discomfort. The condition can be caused by arthritis (which Inaba has) or an injury. Inaba says, “I have arthritis. The space around my spinal cord has become compressed. I have been locked. My neck was so stiff. We’re hoping this procedure will relieve that.”

The choreographer is still planning to attend the Dizzy Feet Foundation’s Celebration of Dance fundraiser on November 29th. She is a founding member of the foundation.
