Unfortunately, singer Celine Dion is not pregnant. It was announced that she was pregnant while being in the early stages of in vitro fertilization, but her and husband Rene Angelil, 67, found out the transfer of embryos were unsuccessful. Angelil told the Candadian paper Journal de Montreal, “We are living the reality of the majority of couples who have to use [IVF]. The process can be long and arduous. But today, we are full of confidence. Celine is more determined than ever.”
The couple have one son together, Rene-Charles, who was born in 2001. He was also conceived through the IVF process, with the help of Dion’s doctor Dr. Zev Rosenwaks, director of the Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Center Medical Center. People.com also reported that Dion and Angelil are going to New York this weekend for a third go around. Best of luck.
