Happy August! I loved BAREFOOT by Elin Hilderbrand!
Just finished Summer in the City by Candace Bushnell.
Just catching up on my reviews, hopefully I’ll have a few that I’ve not got round to reviewing this year – naughty me!
Just posted my review for Deep Down Tree by Juliette Fay.
Holy cow!! I read two books this month!!!!! I hope this one counts though…it’s YA. Thumped, the sequel to Bumped π

This is a Mills and Boons written by a chick lit author I’ve come to love. It was different from other formulaic books and having read some of Julie Cohen’s more recent books, I was eager to read her older releases.
Elizabeth Hanbury is a new discovery for me. I stumbled upon her after reading a blog post by Phillipa Ashley talking about this book. I bought it and enjoyed it thoroughly!
Other Words for Love by Lorraine Zago Rosenthal was a surprise. I knew it was YA, but I didn’t know it would have so many adult situations as well as young adult ones.
LOVED Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire. Can’t believe I have to wait until next year for the next book in this series. π
Onion Girl by Trina Reilly was a great read! I don’t know why I’d be surprised, I’ve loved 90% of her books!
Do The Write Thing is an interesting anthology published by Poolbeg.
The Good Woman by Jane Porter is a fantastic book and it’s what I’ve come to expect from her!
I really enjoyed The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines. She’ll be at the Decatur Book Festival this weekend, and I look forward to meeting her!
