Aqua-Alaskan nights is written as a sort of behind the scenes story of a cruise journey. This one taking place in the rugged Alaskan waters and shores. You get to see not only the Captain’s point of view, but the Head Chef, the PR specialist and the Photography tour leader and how their trip to Alaska changes each of their lives. It’s a fun story and the author has great depth of knowledge about the area that was chosen for this book as well as amazing detail on how much goes into creating delicious unique dishes as well as amazing photo’s. There was also a love story line in this book too, between Haley the PR specialist and Trevor the Photographer, but also bits and pieces of other love stories amongst various characters.

This story does make me want to take to the Alaskan waters and tour the land and see the hidden side to what is there, what simple tourist miss. The author does an amazing job of describing the scenery and virtually taking you on a tour of the Alaskan waters, as well as detailed description on the amazing food that is served on the tour.

It was a fun, quick, enjoyable read.
