Favorite Palettes From Favorite Brands

I saw my friend Mel Thompson do this video earlier this year. It was so much fun, I knew immediately that it was one I wanted to do as well. In my YouTube video, I’m sharing my top favorite palettes from 15 brands I own three or more palettes from. In today’s post, I am sharing just five of those, so head over to my channel to hear about the others.

Starting off with an oldie but a goodie – Dose of Colors. I have quite a few of their palettes; I had been really obsessed with their 5 pan monochromatic palettes. Of course my top pick had to be Marvelous Mauves! It’s one of the very few palettes I have hit pan in, so you know I’ve used it a ton.

I own quite a lot of eyeshadows from Ofra Cosmetics, but decided to just choose from their 5 pan Signature palettes, as I have the most of those. We’re going with another purple palette – Galaxy! Purple is just such a complimentary color for my green eyes. I’m a fan of the centre highlight shade in Nebula, you can use it on the lid, inner corner, and as your face highlight.

Next up, Urban Decay. I talk about this palette all of the time on my channel. My current favorite from the brand is the Naked Reloaded palette. I enjoy this palette so much, especially the shades Reputation and Burn. As this is a Naked palette, I can obviously achieve a lot of neutral, everyday looks, but you can also do some cool things with some of the deeper shades.

We all know by now that Pat McGrath and I are besties, but strangely I have yet to be put on her PR list (this is obviously a joke). I have four of her palettes, but my favorite has to be the Divine Rose. I got this palette for such a great deal, I’m still so proud of that. I reach for the mauves in this palette often (I’m sensing a theme), as well as the special shades at the end to amp up my look.

I owe my love of green shadows to the Charlotte Tilbury Green Lights quad. Prior to trying, and subsequently falling in love with this small palette, I frequently said that I just didn’t like the way green shades looked with my green eyes. Boy, have I been proved wrong! The first time I used it for a video, I could not stop staring at my eyes.
