Gift Guide: Sephora Recommendations

One of my favorite videos to create is my Sephora Recommendations right before the Sephora VIB Sale begins. Any beauty-lover you’re shopping for this holiday season will definitely be impressed to find one these beauty items under the tree. If you’re interested in knowing my tippy-top favorites, you’ve come to the right place!

There have been some new lip products released this year that I rave about; I talk about them all the time. Firstly, the Huda Beauty Silk Balm $21, I am almost out of it, and in need of a replacement! It’s a very natural looking gloss, and makes your lips appear bigger. The other gloss I’d like to recommend is the Lawless Forget the Filler $25, also on the clear side. I do not feel any tingling with this plumping gloss, but definitely see results.

This is about to be high praise coming from me. If I could only choose one lip liner, it would be from Charlotte Tilbury $22. I love a lot of their lip products, but the lip liners are truly beloved in my collection, and worth the money. They are easy to apply, and long-wearing.

I recommend the Urban Decay Hydromaniac Tinted Hydrator foundation $29, to everyone, both online and in my real life, and everyone I’ve talked to has loved it! This light-weight foundation provides medium coverage and a bit of a glow. It doesn’t break up easily on the skin, even when I was more on the oily side.

If you’re feeling bougie, I have some Dior favorites for you to check out. The Backstage Face and Body foundation $40 is an old favorite of mine. This light coverage option feels like a skin tint, which has been a popular formulation this year. It truly feels like nothing on the skin. My other Dior favorite is, say it with me, the Powder No Powder $40! Who’s surprised? I have gone through multiple compacts of this powder this year. It can fix absolutely anything!

Lastly for this blog post, I have two palettes I want to share. One of Natasha Denona’s newer palettes, the Midi Retro $65. I recently had a sponsorship featuring this palette, which was very exciting for me. I am just a huge fan of Natasha Denona in general, but the mauvey tones in the Retro palette are what I’ve been reaching. Originally, I was hesitant to invest in the Patrick Ta Major Dimension palette for $68, but I’m happy to say that I love it! This appears to be a basic neutral palette, but what sets it apart for me are the two cream shadows on the left, I use those as a base to my look almost every time I reach into it, and the shimmers in here are incredible. These higher priced palettes may make a special gift for a loved one who may not make that investment for themselves.
