Jodie Sweetin, who achieved child stardom after playing Stephanie Tanner for eight years on the hit show Full House, is unveiling her memoir, unSweetined, and the explosive bombshells that come with it. Sweetin came out in June of 2008, admitting to years of being addicted to hard core drugs, such as cocaine and crystal meth. She boasted about getting her life back on track, being happily married to second husband Cody Herpin and welcoming first daughter Zoie and getting sober. Turns out, Sweetin was not being truthful. She was still snorting cocaine and drinking heavily- even driving with her baby daughter in the car while under the influence of alcohol.
Just a few of the bombshells from her book include snorting meth in a bathroom stall at Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s New York Minute premier in 2004, starting ecstasy in high school and moving on to meth in college, and being removed from Candace Cameron’s wedding after getting so drunk she vomited- at age 14. Sweetin says she has been sober since December of 2008 after almost losing her daughter in a custody battle, and credits going to AA meetings and staying away from people that have drug and alcohol problems to her continuing sobriety. Jodie Sweetin’s memoir, unSweetined, is due out on November 3rd.
