Ranking Palettes I Used in August

Every month I rank all of the eyeshadow products I use throughout the month. A mix of old and new. I’m talking about quite a few older products this month. For the full August ranking, and some palette closing ASMR, check out my YouTube video below.

Bottom 2 Eyeshadows

#10 Urban Decay x She Hulk ($45) It’s not bad but, it’s not great. Ya know? I did receive this one in PR from Urban Decay. I am not a She Hulk fan, nor am I a fan of this bulky packaging and layout. I was simply unimpressed with the quality, from both my 2 looks and swatches. If you have the Wild Greens, you definitely don’t need this one. I’d say this is more of a collectors piece if you are a big She Hulk fan.

#9 Natasha Denona Gold ($129, discontinued) I pulled out this older palette for a 5 Looks video and it was probably the look I liked the least. This isn’t my favorite, nor is it my least favorite Natasha Denona palette in my collection. The different undertones in the brown matte shades are what make this palette special in my opinion. I typically recommend Natasha’s mini and midi sized palettes because these larger ones are just so expensive.

Top 2 Eyeshadows

#2 Roen Eyes On Me ($49) I am very excited about this because I had never tried this brand before. This is a beautiful rose gold quad. Half of this quad is cream shadows, the other two are powder. Their older quad were all cream shadows. I have been warned, and thus passing along the warning, that people find these crease really badly on them. I do not have that issue with really any eyeshadows, but if you do that may be something to consider before purchasing. This quad is super easy to use, and the shimmer is a showstopper!

#1 ColourPop Dream St ($16, discontinued) I had to give the number one spot to this oldie. This palette is no longer available, but if you do own this, I encourage you to pull it out again. Kathleen Lights did such a good job with this color story. Also used in that 5 Looks video linked above. The look I created with this palette is one of my favorite looks that I have done in quite a long time! I haven’t put this palette away since filming that video. It’s effortless and beautiful!
