Rating 5 Vegas Restaurants

I wanted to start a new series on my channel, as a Las Vegas resident, rating all of the restaurants I eat at throughout the week. I went to five different venues this week, both on and off the strip. I hope that whether you live here too, or are just visiting, you will find a new restaurant to try.

Starting with Sea Salt, a sushi and oyster bar. This is located off the strip, near the Southside Casino. Though I haven’t tried the oysters, I go here almost weekly for sushi. They have an extensive menu, lunch and dinner options, a la carte and all you can eat as well. The atmosphere here is so fun; playing upbeat music. Two of my favorite sushi rolls are the Lisa Lisa roll (shrimp tempura, avocado, cream cheese) and the Yum Yum Crab roll (shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber, baked crab). As it’s one of my favorite places 10/10!

Next I went to La Neta Cocina, located in the beautiful area of downtown Summerlin. My girlfriends and I went here for Sunday brunch. Inside of this restaurant is absolutely stunning. We got bottomless mimosas for $25. I ordered the Trash-Quiles not really sure what to expect. Let me tell you, I was very excited when it turned out to be breakfast style nachos inside of that trashcan! Nachos is my favorite food group. Fun atmosphere, good food 8/10!

Now let me take you to the Raiders Tavern inside the M Resort & Casino. Again, located off the strip and is a big hit for the locals. Having just woke up, I wasn’t super hungry so I ordered the Spinach & Artichoke Dip, it was so good, and the pita chips were delightful. We had a view of the pool, and were able to head inside and gamble if we wanted to. A fun place for a stay-cation 9/10!

For something completely different, we’re going to Coffee Religion, located more north of the strip. This place is coffee shop vibes, as soon as we stepped in, I loved the decor. I cannot wait to go back here! This place is very “Instagram-able” if that’s something you are looking for. They offer coffee, tea, breakfast, and lunch. We went for the High Tea service, and it was so much fun! For just $35 a person, you get two pots of tea (there are so many options to choose from), a cute bird cage full of food (check out the picture above). Desserts, toast, finger sandwiches, scones. The cucumber sandwich was a favorite, it was light and refreshing. A Las Vegas GEM 10/10!

Lastly, the Excalibur where they have something called The Tournament of Kings. This is a casino located on the strip. You are seated within “countries”, we were in Spain. You’re watching a jousting match while eating your meal. There was a lot of crowd participation, pounding on the tables, shouting support for your country. There were no utensils; you have to eat everything with your hands. I think this would be so fun for kids especially, there’s even an arcade close by. Fun and low-key 7/10!
