A Los Angeles coroner has ruled the death of heiress Casey Johnson was of natural causes. People.com reports the coroner’s statement as reading the specific cause of death was “diabetic ketoacidosis,” a condition caused by a shortage of insulin. Johnson had suffered from diabetes since she was a chid. The Johnson & Johnson heiress, 30, is survived by her 3 year old adopted daughter, Ava.

Casey Johnson Death is Confirmed

The death of Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson has been confirmed. Johnson, 30, was first reported dead by E! News, and fiancé Tila Tequila had this to say on her Twitter page, “Everyone please pray 4 my Wifey Casey Johnson. She has passed away. Thank u for all ur love and support but I will be offline to be w/ family.” Her death has been confirmed by police.

People.com reports that Los Angeles police and firefighters were called to a house at 11:51 am on Monday, where Johnson was pronounced dead on the scene. Police Officer Sara Faden released this statement, “It appears to be a natural death. There’s no evidence of foul play. A toxicology report from the coroner’s office will proceed next.”
