Dancing With the Stars Season 11 Cast

The season 11 cast of Dancing With the Stars has been revealed, and I have to say, I’m not all that excited about it. The cast includes:
David Hasselhoff (Actor)
Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino (Reality TV personality)
Kurt Warner (Former NFL Quarterback)
Michael Bolton (Singer)
Brandy (Singer)
Florence Henderson (Actress)
Bristol Palin (Sarah Palin’s daughter)
Jennifer Grey (Actress)
Audrina Patrdige (Reality TV personality)
Rick Fox (Former LA Laker)
Maragaret Cho (Comedienne)
Kyle Massey (Actor)

I mean, two reality TV “stars” and a girl who I couldn’t even come up with a title for, not even ‘entertainer’ or fill in the blanks ‘personality.’ No, I had to say Sarah Palin’s daughter. And David Hasselfhoff? Groan. The only reason I will watch this season is because of Kurt Warner, and if he’s eliminated the first week I will give up. I live in Iowa and am a big NFL fan, and you can’t help but love Kurt Warner. So I will be rooting for Kurt- who will you be cheering for? Is there anyone who made the cut that you are really unenthused about seeing on your TV screen?

David Hasselhoff & Daughter’s Getting Own Show

The Hoff is coming to a TV near you. David Hasselhoff recently announced his departure from America’s Got Talent, and Usmagazine is now reporting that the 57 year old actor will star in docu-drama on A&E. The show will air ten episodes also starring Hasselhoff’s daughters- Taylor-Ann, 19, and Hayley, 17- while their father tries to help them break into the entertainment industry. Hasselhoff released this statement on his new venture, “It’s the dream of every parent to be able to help their child succeed. I told the girls that I would help them open the door when they are ready, but they would have to walk through it on their own.” The show, which is still untitled, is set to air later this year.

David Hasselhoff Leaving America’s Got Talent

David Hasselhoff is leaving America’s Got Talent after four years as a judge. In a statement to PEOPLE, Hasselhoff, 57, said, “I am proud that I was part of making America’s Got Talent the No. 1 rated show for the past four summers. It’s been a rewarding experience and now I’m thrilled to be able to follow my dream to do my own TV show, which will be announced very shortly. I want to thank my friend, (executive producer) Simon Cowell, and everyone at NBC and Fremantle for the opportunity for four great years.”
NBC sources said they are looking to fill his spot, alongside judges Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne. No names have been listed yet a potential replacements.
