Beach Body Challenge with Annie McDonnell – A Year of Transformation

ONWARD AND UPWARD & REMAINING POSITIVE! (Week 6)

I lost 7.4 pounds since I began my Year of Transformation (on Sept. 7th, 2015).

corn mazeI gained 1.4 pounds this week.  I was out of the house quite a bit and definitely did not eat appropriately for 2 days. So, I pay the price. I will think twice before eating bad things again…even if it is my only choice. I need to bring food with me to Fairs and such…I ate awful when not home, and drank soda…I was not a good girl.

When I was at the Fall Festival, I told my friend that when you don’t eat right, I eat MORE. There was no protein being offered on the farm, and I noticed a huge difference in my energy level and how much I ate. I learned my EMPTY CALORIES lesson. What a waste that was!

I walked A LOT this week. We got lost in the Corn Maze…I know I got in more than10,000 steps! I honestly thought that would make a huge difference, and that I would certainly lose weight. My joints are screaming, but I feel very good that I was able to keep up with my friends at the Fall Festival and Bronx Zoo. So, my stamina is improving for sure.

I am going on vacation on Friday. Wish me luck eating well, and exercising there!

Keep On Keeping On! I get my evaluation at Spectrum PT on November 1st, 2015. The goal is to help me with Balance, Flexibility, Pain Management and Weight Loss! I trust that when I am being monitored while I work out, I will be a lot more successful. I am so excited about this opportunity. The plan is also to get back to my beloved CIZE!  I love that Beach Body workout and I am missing it! But, I understand now that I need to work up to that level of exercise.

One thing I cannot live without ~

A HEALTHY BREAKFAST!! I love my morning routine with breakfast being an amazing start to my day. I love Quinoa with seeds, nuts, cinnamon, and a dash of honey or vanilla…heated up…YUMMY! Perfect autumn breakfast! I still love my eggs too..and, this weekend I was able to get Farm Fresh Eggs!!  Yummy!

FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION! While I have slipped a bit…I am not too concerned. I am hoping next week will be fab! I know I can do this. 

Please join me next week, where I’ll tell you how I am doing on my vacation! I am going to visit my Best Friend and see other close friends in Virginia…and, we are going to be in Massanutten for one week! WOOT WOOT!! LOTS OF WALKING!!

Beginning Weight: 271

Present Weight: 263.6

Body Fat: 60.7% (Up 2.1%)

Total Body Water: 20.0 (WAY TOO LOW, no changes)

Muscle Mass: 27.8% (WAY TOO LOW, down .7%)

3.6 lbs. of Bone Mass (need to research this, no changes)

    Hey, it happens! I actually increased my calories to lose weight. I track via MyFitnessPal and track carbs, fat, and protein and plan my meals every day. I got my 21 Day Fix shirt in the mail today and I’m in week 2 of Body Beast!
