About the Book
Sophie O’Neill left behind an envy-inspiring career and the stressful, competitive life of big-city Chicago to settle down with her husband and young son in a small Texas town. My Review
There was definitely a lot going on in The Hunting Wives, and not a lot I agreed with. That being said, the book was cleverly written, with plenty of twists and turns to keep me guessing. A lot of the main characters lacked morals which hey – not totally unusual, right? But it was hard to keep turning the pages and I wanted to cringe at a few of the scenarios I was reading. I did finish the book to figure out the mystery aspect, because each time I thought I knew the villain, another plot twist popped up and piqued my interest. Overall, good writing and settings, but not really for me.
