Lucy is a sweet, passive girl that ends up being used by a second rate actress Charmaine; who feels that Lucy should be at her beck and call…even to the point of taking care of her yappy dog. Charmaine coerces Lucy into being the rear end of a cow in the big play they both are in. Charmaine not only uses Charmaine, but confides in her secrets that Lucy slips up and tells the wrong people. This is where things come crashing down…
In this short novel, Lucy finds herself and learns how to stand up for herself; albeit the hard way. She also learns the fame doesn’t make a person worthy to have in your life.
This is a cute Christmas love story and was a fun read.
