#BookReview: Tales of a New York Waitress by Samantha Garman

tales of a new york waitressAbout the Book

Choose the best phrase to describe Sibby Goldstein’s life:

1) Sucky.
2) Really sucky.
3) Major suck-fest.
D) All of the above.

I started my day with a boyfriend and a job. I ended my day with a bottle of tequila. I’ll let you connect the dots.

Somehow, I wound up working as a waitress at an Italian restaurant. I have no idea what I’m doing. And I’m not just talkin’ about life.

This should be interesting.

My Review

I was browsing on Amazon for a new chick lit read, and Tales of a New York Waitress caught my attention. I liked the cover, and the synopsis had me giggling. It’s the first book in the Queen of Klutz series, and I’m so happy that I ended up loving it! Sibby is a hysterical character, and I also really enjoyed reading about her best friend too. All the restaurant chat really took the book to a comical level, and I loved the quick sections that each chapter was divided into. This is light-hearted chick lit filled with plenty of laughs and some sweet romance scenes, and I definitely want to read book 2!
