Dylan Farrow, an employee at Kerrigan Advertising Agency, knows his way around the office. As Junior Executive of Design Productions, Dylan has been climbing the corporate ladder quickly. He is a great communicator, he thinks quickly on his feet and works very hard, but that’s not all – he has a little something extra to add that other employees don’t – sexual power. Dylan knows how to get what he wants, until Valerie Caplan shows up. When both Dylan and Valerie vie for the same job, the Senior Executive of Design Production at Kerrigan, they are both expecting nothing short of a promotion. So they are shocked when their interview becomes a performance based project working on the same team together. Who will come up with the better ideas? Who will work harder? Who will win the boss over?
This book is nothing short of hot and steamy. Both Dylan and Valerie are very attractive and sexual. Dylan spends half of the book in bed with someone else. Valerie thinks he is an ass, but can’t help be attracted to him. Dylan thinks Valerie is amazing from the start, but is afraid to get to close to the “enemy”. Who will score the job of their dreams? And how exactly will they do it?
This book was very hard to put down. The author tells the story from both Dylan and Valerie’s point of view, which I liked. It was nice to know what the other was thinking. The chapters are exciting and were are many cliff hangers. The ending closed up too quickly for me, but overall I enjoyed the book.
