Ranking Palettes I Used in April

I am loving this new series I started for 2022; ranking all of the eyeshadows I use each month. There is a variety of new products I’ve been testing for the first time, as well as some that have been in my collection for quite some time.

For a look at all the eyeshadow products I used in the month of April, and where they ranked, be sure to watch my YouTube video linked below.

Bottom 2 Eyeshadows

I am quite disappointed that these are at the bottom, because I was excited to try them. The elf x Dunkin Donuts collab quads released recently, and they look so cute. I have been a fan of their Bite Sized Quads for some time now, they are super affordable. But these really missed the mark. The mattes weren’t very blendable and the shimmers were lacklustre.

I have been having a ton of fun with the new eyeshadow releases, so ended up ranking my older palettes lower on this list, but I still do like them. For example, the Natasha Denona Mini Biba palette is second from the bottom. We all know how much I typically love the Natasha minis; her eyeshadow formula is a fave of mine. It’s so fast and simple to use these five pan palettes. I find myself reaching into these often.

Top 2 Eyeshadows

I was not expecting to love this palette so much. The new Hindash Monochromance palette came out of the blue for me. I am so thankful to have received this in PR, as I was originally on the fence to purchase this pricier palette. I mentioned this palette recently as a spring must-have because of how versatile this palette can be. It’s not only a beautiful eyeshadow palette, but you can also get your cheek products from this as well.

Coming in the number 1 spot, we have the Sigma New Mod palette. There is so much to love about this palette! The velvety soft Sigma packaging, the amazing formula consistent across all their palettes, and that it come with a high quality double-ended Sigma brush as well, makes this palette so worth it. While this is a monochromatic rosy toned palette, there is a surprising amount of diversity. I cannot stop reaching into this. It’s a favorite! Remember to use code SAMANTHA to save.
