#BookReview: Match Me If You Can by Michele Gorman

match me if you canMatch Me If You Can by Michele Gorman follows three women, all friends and also roommates. Catherine is trying to keep her wits about her after her business partner – and ex-husband – springs on her that he is selling his half of the company to his much younger fiancee. Suddenly Catherine is trying to keep her business together while being told what to do by the fiancee – and somehow helping her plan the wedding to her ex at the same time.

Rachel is also trying to work with an ex, her ex-boyfriend, and they are paired up together on a project. And Sarah doesn’t have the time or energy to date, and spends a lot of time with her special needs sister anyway. But both Sarah and Rachel get talked into joining Catherine’s dating website, and begin to learn about themselves – and what they are looking for with love.

Match Me If You Can was a fun and light-hearted read, and I enjoyed getting to know each of the three women and their stories. Each was well-written and I was interested in knowing how all three of the stories would end. I will say that there were times that I felt it was easy to put the book down – there are a lot of section breaks which maybe played into that – but regardless of that, I still highly enjoyed the story and thought it was a lot of fun, and the second half of the book really picked up for me. Would be a good read for chick lit fans.
